The Key Creator Features

Avatary is certainly not like other avatar creators out there and during its over two years of development, several special key features were established. In this blog post we don´t want to miss the opportunity to show you our three main features and why they make the Avatary Creator so unique compared to other competitors.
Feature 1: Multiple Assets
Probably the most obvious core feature we want to introduce is simply the number of assets that can be used within the Avatary Creator. If we look at normal creators, you usually have a number of about 5 to 10 different assets per category to choose from. This circumstance just doesn't support any creative work and limits you and your ability to act freely.
That is why we decided to provide you over 300 assets right from the start, with even more to come. With this huge selection, you'll be able to easily create your own face, as well as any other character you can imagine, in great detail.
Feature 2 - The Colorpicker
Secondly, we want to draw your attention to the unique color selection tool we developed especially for Avatary. A well-known problem by now is that common profile and avatar creator services only provide a certain number of predefined colors to choose from, such as blonde, brown and black in terms of hair colors.
We really are no fans of this approach, so we decided to go for a different idea already in the early design phase of Avatary. Known from other popular graphics editing tools like Photoshop, we adopted the color wheel. This clever utility allows you to pick every RGB color your screen offers!
It is a very important concern of us that each of you can exploit the maximum of artistic freedom and that there are really no limitations in terms of unleashing your creativity. We are pretty sure that you will like our approach here.
Feature 3 - Transform, Rotate and Scale
The final and perhaps most unique core feature we´d like to introduce, are the asset transformation options you have with the Avatary Creator.
As you probably know, if you already have any experience with certain profile creators, you can usually transform, scale and sometimes rotate a body part by clicking a one-time button and that only in a very limited way between 3-5 times. That's about it and that just wasn´t enough for us, so so we decided to present a much more open experience.
We quickly realized that again a self-developed tool would be the solution and we experimented around until we finally came up with this particular feature: With our Avatary Creator you are able to scale, rotate and transform every single part or even multiple parts together by simply dragging your mouse (or your finger on mobile devices) in the direction or shape you want it to be. Using this method is so much simpler and more innuitive, that we hope we can engage many more people in the exciting field of avatar creation.
Special Features
Even though we talked about our three key features, there still are some honorable mentions.
- Our creator totally supports an Undo/Redo function, which gives you the ultimate flexibility to go back a few steps if something you've created isn't working the way you wanted it to.
- You can lock every body parts category like for example the eyes, if you want them to stay fixed and unchanged, while you transform the rest of your entire ceation.
- Our special Randomize button lets you create crazy Avatarys in miliseconds, which gives you a pretty good indication of what the Avatar Creator is capable of.
